DIRECTIONS: Work with a partner to determine the range of motion of the following joints by measuring the angles between parts.  Save your data in a spreadsheet.  Try to improve the range of motion on one joint by applying appropriate stretching.  Do this over the course of the next five days. One will require the use of a protractor, scratch paper, and a string to measure angles.

 

  1. Fingers on Right Hand.
  2. Fingers on Left Hand.
  3. Thumb and Back of Arm.
  4. Thumb and Front of Arm.
  5. Wrist and Back of Arm.
  6. Wrist and Front of Arm.
  7. Arm bent to Shoulder.
  8. Arm raised behind Back.
  9. Arm across the front of Body.
  10. Arm above head.
  11. Touch your Toes (legs together).
  12. Bent Leg.
  13. Straight Leg in Front.
  14. Straight Leg to Side.
  15. Toes pointed and Leg.
  16. Toes and Front of Leg.
  17. Ankle to the Outside.
  18. Ankle to the Inside.
  19. Range of motion in the neck.
